Why a tree care saw? What are the advantages and differences between a tree care saw and a conventional petrol chain saw?
Basically, petrol chainsaws are heavier and therefore not as useful for tree care as, for example, the KS226, which is much handier and lighter. The only difference is often in the engine power, which is correspondingly stronger with "big" chainsaws. If you are looking for compact flexibility, the FX-KS226 is for you!

The 2-stroke petrol saw KS226 weighs only 3 kg and is therefore very easy to use. A big plus in terms of handling and safety. This is exactly why you choose a tree care saw. Due to its low weight, it is ideally suited to work in higher areas, for example at the top of a tree. In tree care, the chainsaw is mainly used for throwing off branches and cutting off the tip. By removing the top of the tree, a tree is relieved. Anyone who owns a stove and takes care of their own firewood needs a chainsaw with two hands, but not this one.
With a sword length of 25cm (10inch), our KS226 is ideal for trimming trees. Since this can sometimes take longer, the weight of the saw is not insignificant. The user remains flexible and can fully concentrate on the "work". The cutting length for this sword is 20cm. The KS226 also makes it possible to exchange the 10-inch sword for a 12-inch sword (not included).
The saw's maximum engine speed is 12,000rpm and has a cylinder capacity of 25.4cc. With a power output of 0.7kW, it has sufficient power for its application areas. An Easy-Starter cable pulling device is available as a starting device, which, as the name suggests, makes starting easy!
The oil tank for automatic chain lubrication contains 160ml and is easy to refill. The fuel tank is almost 230 ml. Due to the lower filling quantities, the weight of the chainsaw hardly increases and work is still reliable and pleasant. The Top Handle petrol chainsaw has kickback protection with a mechanical chain brake, which provides additional safety during work.
